What is a Zip File
A zip file is a compressed file that contains other files within it. This post is not directly related to web hosting or our services at iPowerWeb. Instead of having to read web hosting related posts on a daily basis, we occasionally write about other things such as the Internet, technology, and of course - dieting. Zip files generally use the .zip extension. A great thing about zip files are that you can typically remove the files within the zip file at any time. Over time the Internet dictionary continues to grow, for example the term "unzip" is now used to refer to a zip file being decompressed.
