How Do I Change My Account Password

In the past we have explained how to change your account username and provided you with tips on passwords not to use. So what should we explain now, how about how to change your password? Regularly changing your account password is highly recommended in order to help prevent from hackers gaining access to your account. So for many reasons you may want to change your hosting accounts password every once in a while. The process by which to change your password varies for every type of web hosting account. If you are a BusinessPro user with a vDeck control panel, you may change your account password via your vDeck control panel. But as long as you are a current iPowerWeb user you should be able to change you password in either the "Preferences" or "Settings" section of the control panel. If for some reason the option to change your password is not located in your control panel, please send an email to Billing@iPowerWeb.com. When sending the email be sure to include your domain name, username, your old password along with the new one you wish to use, and the last four digits of the credit card we have on file for security purposes. If you do not wish to send an email, you may resolve this issue by calling our Billing Department at 888-511-HOST. We would be more than happy to help you change the password on your web hosting account(s).
