JaMarcus Russell and Raiders Agree to Six Year Contract
Every once in a while we like to write about things going on outside of the web hosting and Internet worlds. For example, today we would like to tell you that the Oakland Raiders (the NFL team) and its first round draft pick of the 2007 NFL draft (JaMarcus Russell have agreed in principle to a contract that will guarantee Russell nearly $31 million. This is said to be the richest rookie contract ever. The six year deal is believed to be worth about $60 million and Russell should begin training with the team shortly. Now that the Raiders have signed their rookie quarterback people will surely begin setting extremely high expectations for both Russell and the Raiders.
