The English version of Wikipedia, currently has over 2 million articles in English. At the time this page was written the English version of Wikipedia contained 2,001,520 articles. Wikipedia is a web based encyclopedia which is comprised of information from volunteers all over the world. Wikipedia has been on the net since 2001 and has become a commonly referenced site.
