Google Leads All Search Engines in August 2007
Again for another month, Google led all search engine properties on the Internet as the most used search engine for the month of August 2007. Google came in 1st while Yahoo and MSN were second and third respectively. Over half of all searches across the Internet were performed by Google, who was the leading search engine with 53.6% market share. Google was followed by Yahoo at 19.9% and MSN (Live search) who had 12.9%. With the way things are going, it seems like no other site is able to dramatically cut into Google's large piece of the pie. As Google's market share and power across the Internet continues to rise, so does the company's stock - which just hit an all-time high at 571.79.
