234th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party

Today is December 16, 2007, this means that it is the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. On December 16, 1773 American colonists destroyed many crates of tea bricks on ships in Boston Harbor. The Boston Tea Party was not an actual celebration which involved drinking tea by the American colonists and the people of Great Britain rather the Boston Tea Party has been recognized as a major event that helped spark the American Revolution.
